How May our Legal Term Serve You?

Criminal Defense

Our criminal defense practice is focused on helping people from all walks of life, including young adults and youths with bright futures who are facing criminal charges.

Domestic Violence

A large percentage of our practice is devoted to defending against allegations of assault. The current domestic violence justice system is fast, confusing, and often unfair. All it takes is a 911 call for the system to trigger mandatory arrests, no-bail jail holds, no-contact orders, and mandatory court hearings.

Protection Orders

A protection order, often called a restraining order, is like a wolf in sheep’s clothing. It is an order to stay away from another person—simple enough, but also a black mark on a person’s record that can lead to future arrests. There are effective ways to obtain or fight these orders.

Juvenile Law

We’ve been representing youth and parents in juvenile court for more than two decades. Kids make mistakes. However, children as young as 12 can be arrested, charged, and incarcerated the same as an adult. When a kid is charged, it becomes a family problem. Fortunately, there are many ways to manage concerns and achieve good outcomes.

Education Defense

Our education defense practice is about defending students who are accused of violating their school’s or university’s rules.

CPS/Child Abuse

Burke Brown Attorneys, PLLC represents parents and family members accused of physically or sexually abusing a child. Child abuse accusations are emotionally charged, but they can be handled in ways that preserve the family and parent-child relationship.
